ANSWERING YOUR FAQs

At DJs Unlimited, we understand that you may have questions or concerns regarding our services. To ensure that our clients are comfortable and trust us to handle their party planning, we answer all of our most frequently asked questions.

Do You Offer a Written Contract?

Yes.

A contract establishes our obligation to you and outlines the terms related to our performance. Please know that you are not obliged to make a decision or sign a contract on the spot. We are happy to answer any questions or clarify any concerns prior to executing a contract.

2

May We Meet With You in Person Before We Sign a Contract?

YES!

We prefer this means of doing business as it allows us the opportunity to visit our office and discuss your event details face to face.

3

How Long Will You Hold Our Date for Us?

We are willing to accommodate a reasonable time frame for your convenience and to allow time to schedule an in-person meeting. Typically, one week is a reasonable amount of time to hold your date following our meeting.

4

What Makes You Different From Your Competitors?

At DJsUnlimited, we take pride in our work and making our client’s event one of the most memorable days of their lives. We are dedicated to every aspect of each performance! Having conducted business at the most popular venues in New Jersey, we have established great relationships that ensure the success of each performance by working hand in hand with the different management teams. More importantly, we are committed to our client’s vision. We will stop at nothing to realize their dreams, whether it’s projecting their names on the dance floor or displaying candid pictures on plasmas – we’ll make it happen!

5

Will We Meet Again Before the Wedding?

We will meet as often as need be to ensure you are comfortable with all the details surrounding the entertainment at your event.

6

Can We Visit You at a Performance?

Out of respect for the privacy of our client’s special day, DJsUnlimited does not permit prospective clients to "drop in" on a wedding. However, our references and the information we provide you in our initial meeting will speak volumes of our experience, style, and professionalism.

7

How Involved Can We Be in Selecting Music for Our Event?

We understand that each wedding is unique in taste and style. For this reason, we are fully capable of accommodating all genres of music in accordance with your music preferences. Our priority during our meeting(s) is to determine your likes and dislikes and through our own expertise make recommendations when appropriate. We value your feedback and encourage your involvement in determining your music selection. We pride ourselves in listening to our clients and respect their input and wishes.

8

What Kinds of Music Are Included in Your Collection?

We cater to a wide array of music in all formats, including international music – Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Latin American. We update our collection constantly, ensuring that we are able to provide the songs that our clients and their guests are guaranteed to enjoy.

9

Do You Take Requests From Our Guests?

It’s up to you. We respect the importance of your day and it is our responsibility to remain true to you. We use our discretion to decide whether or not a request is appropriate for your event. When in doubt, we take the initiative to consult with you before a selection is played.

10

Can We Submit a “Do Not Play” List?

Yes, this gives us a clear idea of your limits and distastes for a particular song selection at your wedding.

11

Do You Bring Backup Equipment With You to the Wedding?

Even the very best and most well-maintained equipment will malfunction at some point. We are definitely prepared and quick to respond in the unlikely event that this happens at your wedding.

12

How Do You Dress for an Event?

Our performers were a classic black tuxedo with vest and tie to all weddings. For all other events, we make certain that appropriate attire is worn and discussed when we meet.

13

When Do You Arrive to Set Up for an Event?

Our performers arrive on-site at least an hour and a half prior to the contracted start time of the event, and earlier as necessitated by the setup requirements of the site.

14

Are You Insured?

We are fully insured. Liability insurance protects you and the reception venue in the unlikely event of an accident. In fact, some reception venues require all vendors working at their facility to provide proof of insurance in advance.
